What a valuable and practical unit! I love that you take them right through the process of actually “shopping” online so they find out whether their plans are realistic. There’s so much potential in our new Careers courses. I’m excited to see what direction different districts and schools settle into once we get a few years into it.

Great summary of your PLN, Sarah! Sometimes I think of myself as being a bit social media-phobic, but when I think about it, I do interact with various platforms both recreationally and professionally. Your post is a nice reminder that much can be gleaned, even for us lurkers!

Sounds like a very cool approach, Sarah. There are so many different models being tested for Careers in Gr. 10-12. I love the fact that your program incorporates face to face as well as online.
